Need Report Bad Post to cause moderation

vBulletin 5.5.3 (will be upgrading in a few weeks).

I need to modify "Report Bad Post" to make the post in question invisible (easy part and working, set post.visible=0) and also have it show up in the "moderation" table [so we can find and modify those posts].

But I don't understand how the "moderation" table gets its data? (I expect that when I discover this I'll then know how to make the entry require moderation).

Anybody know how this works?
