Latest 5 New Users instead of 1

I'd like to be able to display the latest 5 new users on the index page apposed to just the last.

The process would add in the newest user and remove the last newest on a rotating basis, (newest ---> Oldest).

I've search the forums and found several variations, mostly time based.

Exactly as its currently displayed, except to show 5 rather than 1.
