.HTACCESS In vbulletin 3.6

hello everyone, I have already posted in VBulletin.com forums and they said to post it here so here goes... I have been following the manual on setting up subscritions using paypal, from within VBulletin 3.6 and it works great. After the the signup and payment, the forum link becomes visible. The trouble is I can still browse to the exact URL of the folder and child folders where my stand alone Mobile Phone Loader program is located and you can bypass VBulletin to access files in this folder. Currently I am protecting the folder and child directories at the moment with a standalone probram called AMember Pro,to do the subscritions with paypal and which uses among other things a basic .HTaccess file but I wanted a single login with payment subscriptions, so VB was a welcome addition also I want to eliminate Amember Pro. Is there a way to get VBulletin to generate a .HTaccess file from the subscription database of VBulletin to protect the folder and child folders, just like Amember Pro does. I like Amember Pro, but want a single login that shares the database, and was hoping my forums could achieve that with the subscriptions system built into VBulletin. I cant intergrate my Mobile Phone Loader as pages into vbulletin because the loader uses a separate database and is too complicated in nature. Is there mods that I have to do or does VBulletin have the ability?? Your help would be greatly appreaciated

aMember Pro has a vBulletin plugin available that will let your forum users pay for their access and keep their member name and login name.

This is what we use at my forums as well, and it works perfectly

thanks for the response Ntfu2 I get an error to the database permissions when trying to use this, their tech support say they don't offer info on there plugins and that I should talk to the vbulletin about it sheesh!! Anywho does amember pro need to share the same database as my joomla does with vbulletin ?

Dragonhart......

PS also so if what im reading is that when your users take out a subscription to X product using Vbulletin u direct them after that to the member login in Amember and then they don't have to relog in, and what about the login area where in Amember you can sign up again or siign up for mutiple products and you have to put in your password again?? is this done away with??
