Global redirect.
I am having trouble with this one... I have customized my urls a bit to be forumname-f2 and topicname-t2434.html ect.
I would like to avoid duplicate content penalties from the search engines and have a global redirect so that all variations (different keyword exclusions ect.) are all redirected to the new (most recent) topic name. Does anyone know how to do this? I have been fooling around with .htaccess to try and rig up a system but I have not had any luck thus far. Edit: Figured it out. :) |
Glad you got it, feel free to share to help others with the same issue :)
