Fetching A Template Instead Of Phrase

Upon new registration completion, a member is notifyed that their new account is ready to go, blah blah (like the pic below)
I think this uses a phrase though called registration_complete. Is there a way to grab a template instead? I wanna include more post back information. I found this in registration.php which I think I'd change PHP Code:

why not edit that registration_complete template, take out the phrase and add the post back information you wish to add,

What to you want to add that you cannot do simply by editing the registration_complete phrase ?
