Category Drop Down Gone In Main Settings

just installed the arcade, and it rocks...but

after installing some games, i now no longer have the choice as to wot cat to put them in??

the drop down box no longer has the category names, just a thin drop down, which is empty....weird.
any help anyone??

create a new category and check if anything changes.

If it still does not work, please let me have a look on this, I need ACP+FTP access to check it out
