Is there any way to have custom messages for the unregistered when they try to go into a private forum?

You'll have to edit either the template or the phrases, whichever you want really. For major changing, the template, for minor changes, the phrases.

He'd have to edit the templates... you can't use conditions in Phrases.

He's not using conditions... he means when they go into a forum they aren't allowed to go into. :p

How else would you propose it find out which forum is the private forum?
