Ideas on a killer vbulletin site

Ok I have the B width and the space now to go hog wild on my site but now I need your help on making something even vbulletin would be excited to refer people to our site to see examples of. I have decided on vbulletin and vbadvanced that way I have a dynamic ever changing front page. I would then like added mods to include a shoutbox and open chatrooms. On top of that polls would be cool of course current topics and also a tech review person. But what else could I add that would make it a board people would come back to just to check it out? and any examples of boards you would recommend?

The most important factor when creating a site is the subject and content. You can (and some do) modify it till you are blue in the face, but without a decent content it will never actually go anywhere.

If you have a good subject for your site, and can start injecting content into it, then this is the most important place to start. Some modifications can enhance the experience for your users, but others can completely take away from it, it all depends on the content and what is appropraite for that sector.

With having an existing site, then it is a lot easier as you already have people coming to it.

My only advice is to take it easy on the mods and only use things that will enhance your community and not detract from it.

well what i was thinking was vbulletin with vbadvanced and the gallery feature to start and whatever is needed for a shoutbox or chat room and take it from there.

sounds good as that is simliar (having a shoutbox) to your current setup on ubb

similarity build familiarity and familiarity will drive usage.

How do you expect people to remember that domain?

Pacific = P
Northwest = NW
Full = F
S = Size
4x4s

If you know what the site is about, that probably explains the domain, but thats just my guess =P
