Another URL being linked to mine

Noob question.
I currently just bought 1&1 hosting.
Have my own URL, And my friend has a URL, that we want to be on the same site...Like a merge
I gave him my name servers, It didn't do anything. What do i have to do in order for this to work?

you can only have one on your nameservers, the other must be used as a redirect

if his registrar allows him to add a redirect to it then he can do that, check with the registrar to see how they do it.

If he's got the domain name hosted with someone then he can create a .htaccess that will redirect to your page as well...you should beable to google how to do that.
