Hi all,

I am thinking of providing free blogging service with using vbulletin.
My aim is to create simple service which can be used by anyone thats why i choosed vbulletin.

Let me define my project;

- vBulletin will be used for almost everything :)
- I will define blog categories as forums in my system like "General", "Life and Such" and so on,
- A member can create his/her blog entry by posting a thread to predefined forums,
- With using .htaccess file i can provide username.domain.com subdomains for my users. Which will contain user spesific posts.
- Threads can be commented by other members, also can be closed by thread owners.
-This system will be based on 1 vbulletin installation so it will be possible to update easly also it will be more secure (i think) than seperate installation of free blog softwares.


What do you think about this project ?

there are quite a lot of blogging forums out there already, you will want to spend a fair bit of time and effort (and money) to make it something that people will want to be apart of.
