Rounded Glossy Buttons (W.I.P)
 

Based off some recent button sets I submitted with the exception that these are more rounded and have slightly different Icons implemented on the left hand side of the buttons. I always get some good suggestions here so before I wrap these buttons up it would be appreciated if anyone has any suggestions/ colour corrections etc that can be done to improve these. :)

Suggestions? not really. The only one that I can think of is to make the icons of the first set that have the papers, a bit smaller and tilt them a little clockwise. Not sure if that sounded right, lol.

Basically the reason that I said that is because most of your icons are not standing straight 90 degrees, doing so will get the buttons to look a bit like each other. Also the smooth round corners might cause some problems later if you are planning to save them as a transparent gif. But again, you know all this stuff so I don't need to tell you anymore.

Increase the font size ... currently, too small - hard to read.

Change the font to something more appropriate ... eg. the font style and the button styles clash

I've eventually come back to these and made some modifications that you suggested. I haven't yet made the doc icons smaller but I shall (only on the smaller buttons). I've tilted the doc icons as you suggested and they look a little better to me (I've implemented this in many of my designs in the past) and they do add a little more perspective.

Yeah the rounded corners will cause me unneeded grief but that's the price I'll pay for designing rounded edges. :knockedout:

@Princeton - Changed the font to something more appropriate. These buttons won't have any pixel (non anti-aliased fonts) whatsoever.

the updated sample is perfect. Easy to read, and a cracking style.
