Need help picking out my last error please.
 
Today I ran my site through the Markup Validation Service
v0.7.2. It told me I had 146 errors, now I have tracked them all down to the last one but I cant for the life of me see why this last one is wrong.

Its from the ******** on forum home and this is what is on the template in question:

This is the error the report gave me:

Most likely, You nested tags and closed them in the wrong order. For example <p><em>...</p> is not acceptable, as <em> must be closed before <p>. Acceptable nesting is: <p><em>...</em></p>

Another possibility is that you used an element which requires a child element that you did not include. Hence the parent element is "not finished", not complete. For instance, <head> generally requires a <title>, lists (ul, ol, dl) require list items (li, or dt, dd), and so on.
I cant see the forest for the trees, please can anyone out there see the error and help me?

See if by removing the opening and closing tags <thead> and </thead> help.

Anytime and congrats on your W3C compliance. That only pertains to forum home so run through your other forum pages and weed out any errors if any. :)

I have 4 errors on my homepage and although I have access to the ftp I have to learn more before I get rid of those. Just checked and yes I have more errors to correct on some mods but no big deal, there is no way I could have made those modifications myself and I am grateful to have them.

Will do what I can in templates now then get finished in w3schools before I attack my code on the server.

Thank you for the heads up that I have to check it all not just my homepage and forumhome. Guess I am going to be busy :knockedout:
