PayPal Donation Button Location 1 or 2?
 

Which is better ???

Choice 1
I added a forum catagory that is a paypal donation button and link (check it out here www.emcforums.com). I added the URL for the paypal donation URL to the forum link. This way the title points to the paypal donation site and so does the button. This also prevents people from going into the donation forum.

Choice 2
I origanally wanted to add a donate button next to the "Home" button. I have an extrempixels custom skin so the button has to be created. While I was waiting I came up with the above idea. I kinda like the way it is now but also like the idea of the button.

What do you guys think should I keep the donation forum catagory or add the donatation button to the top of my forum?

P.S. To add the paypal button into the forum just add the encrypted paypal code into the forum description. You can get the paypal URL by selecting unencrypt when createing the paypal donate button.

I think either way really. Maybe the location of your donation forum needs a bit of a rethink as it is sort of stuck in the middle of the category. I'd possibly move it to be with your news or feedback forum as IMO it would fit best there.

Thanks for the honest feedback. I agree with you. I think I have to many forums in the General Catagory overall. I think I will break it up to so the order makes more sense.

And here is my opinion. We have ours right above the footers. It is in a noticeable, yet not overly in your way at all.
