First things first, your header image is not pointing to a valid image URL so you have a broken image there.

Your style works well for your target audience, but while your color scheme is good (the flourescent green isn't something you see very often) the images are letting it down a lot. I would replace the images with a custom set and fix the header image and I think you will find that it will make a big difference.

thanks for the feedback. I did away with the top image title and instead replaced it with the rotating banner. anybody reading this, can somebody fill me in on what's a "custom set" (read reply above). sorry for being a vb noob

after upgrading to 3.6 and reapplying the hacks, I also changed the color scheme a little bit. My forum is relatively new, about 15 months old. For those who have time, , check it out and give me any feedback. thanks
