Hi, i want to know something.Is there anyway at all of getting the passwords of the members in my forum from the ftp or anything so is there a file which i can access and get the information.

Also i am hearing some stuff about MD5 and how people are getting admin passswords from...
So can i have information about these please

all passwords are encrypted and stored in the database in their encrypted format.

As well as MD5 encryption, vBulletin also adds salt (a random 3 character string unique to each user).

So is there a way to un encrypt (im not sure thats a real word) these files.

not without knowing the salt used

Is there a way to find out the salt used and therefore get the passwords.
