database backup dont look right...

Hi peeps

Here is a small segment from my forum db

This dont look right to me... It dont all look like this, this particular 1 is the custom avatars....

It looks like about 1/2 is like this?

Is it corrupt?

That's fine, avatars are binary data.

i aint entirely convinced...as its about half of the file. This backup was done using directadmins backup facility.

I have backed it up again it in the mean time using the phpMyAdmin and its 100% fine...none of that is anywhere in sight....

That's what my most recent back up looked like. I used phpMyAdmin -- but everything restored alright, so as Paul said, it's fine.

Looks like you're opening it with a plain text editor.

I opened it with wordpad the same as i did when i opened the one that is 100% fine...
