My new ride...
http://www.extremefitness.com/fun/newbike.jpg
Just upgraded to a carbon frame and some new wheels; anyone else here into biking? |
I used to be into mountain biking a couple of years ago, not seriously. Just bought me a nice dual suspension and went up the hills a lot. I have to say they are a camp-looking pair of inner-wheels. The writing makes it look odd. And it kinda looks like the wheels are a bit too big for the frame ;) Did you pimp your bike!?
|
Upgraded, starting to really enjoy riding now.... it was time for some new gear. Those wheels are light as a feather and strong as you can imagine - even a thick branch in those spokes wouldn't stand a chance. Bike weighs in at 20 pounds, not bad and hopefully a boost for my uphill performance. It's not your average 10 speed, ;)

Yeah, mountain biking is pretty badass, not much into the bike you posted, too hard to ride....
|
Your crazy about fitness.

I enjoy swimming and do some running - did a small tri a couple months ago. I'm just not a fan of running overall and I don't like swimming in groups; but I do love riding the bike. I'm not fast, but I do have alot of power. :) |
All my power is caculated as horsepower :) BTW, I enjoy Extreme Fitness, I think I've made 1 post so far, but there is so much good content for beginers that I mostly read and read and read.

No worries Shazz. I have a feeling he's not short in the car department. ;)
The only biking I've really got into was freestyling; mainly flatland/ground tricks (not the BMX dirt). I was so obsessed with it. This was back in the day of course as the only traveling I do now days is by car. Sigh... Maybe one day I'll grab some tips from MPDev. :D |
Hey, PennylessZ, glad you are enjoying the site; hope you post more, lots of great people on the site eager to help people out.
Shazz, sorry to disappoint; I just shipped my last Viper off to the Netherlands since I was getting zero seat time with Baby #5 taking up most of my free time of late. It'll be a couple years before I can claim time in a two seater again. No problem, Free; maybe by then I'll be in a position to give advice! lol I'm still learning, but having fun in the process. I have a 62 mile event and two 100 mile events coming up soon and just trying to keep up with my buddies. Cheers! |
