Temp FIX for vbookie running vbulletin 3.6
Just upload the vb 3.5.4 newthread.php file into the forum root. Replacing the new 3.6 file. It then works. Obviously this might stop some 3.6 things working, but at least you will have a working vbookie. :)
You might want to put this into the vBookie thread so everyone knows about it.
It would be better to know why the 3.6 newthread breaks it, do you know ?
nope i'm not sure why, i'm no good with code. Maybe someone could compare the two? Newthread.php files and try to fix it, as the only problem with vb is the newthread.php file which is stopping people from adding new events.
Hmm, one of the sites I help run uses vbookie so I will need to look at why, not for a week or two though.
Thanks for the temp fix, mcyates.
I might try and keep vb3.5.4 newthread.php installed as long as it doesn't affect vb3.6 much at all, but at least you found a working solution for now. |
