Where is my default skin hiding?
I've got a mess and I need help fixing it. Old posts don't have the answer.
I installed a new skin (Cobalt) and set it up in the Style Manager as #2. For whatever reason, I couldn't switch to it. I kept getting the original vB skin. So I installed a second copy of Cobalt and replaced the original vB skin. Now I've got two copies of Cobalt (default and #2) and everything works just fine. So I delete one of the copies, leaving a new default. Now all of a sudden, Cobalt is all screwed up. When I click on a link, the entire page shifts to the right about 20 pixels and then shifts back once the page is fully loaded. Now I want to reinstall the original vB skin. I uploaded the original xml file, added a new style in the Style Manager and choose no parent style. I expected to see the original style and templates. But I've now got the same problem I had before. When I switch between Cobalt (the new default) and the the original vB skin, I get Cobalt either way. Can anyone tell me what's wrong or at least get me back to the original vB skin so I can start from scratch? Thanks! Roger |
That's weird. Are you making sure that you have the original vBulletin style actually there and didn't rename cobalt?
If you're looking for other vBulletin skins, check out www.transversestyles.com |
You have the same problem as this guy:
