How to get more pages indexed in google?
 

I have been checking the site:mydomain and site:mycompetition on google.

Google only indexes a few of my posts. I have over 8700+ posts and google shows only 795 indexed.

One of my compeititors has over 2mill posts and they only show 21000 indexed in google.

Any thoughts or ideas on getting more forum posts in the index.

Seo has lots of different ways to look at.
First of all i advise you to use a sitemap creator.

Also you may choose to use a modrewrite hack. There was a free one at vb.org but also there is another one with license. I also advise you the licensed one because it has many features. I used to have 22k pages before i purchased vbseo and currently i have around 99k pages indexed by google and all the past url's have been droped.

I have the vbseo sitemap already installed months ago.

I have condsidered the vbseo but there's so much conflicting information regarding that we need it or don't need it.
