User Login / Password on the Home Page

I've put my UserLogin/Password on my main index page so that user's can login. vB will authenticate the user but then send them back to my main page.

Where and what modifcation is necessary so that vB sends the user to a particular forum, instead of my index.htm or forum/index.php page?
