If i added a new style as a child style of another will all the template changes automaticly be made?

yes, a child style is a direct copy of it's parent.

If you are installing a new style as a child of an existing one, be aware that some templates may be changed in the new style so you may still have to edit some of the more commonly edited templates (eg postbit, navbar, header, footer)
