I'm having trouble with usergroup permissions
all the main usergroups have their permission setto yes - but i am stll having problems where it tells me my usegroup doesnt have permission to play in the arcade.
Is there a SQL quesry I can run that would set everyone's permissions to 'yes' = and then I can go into my one or two banned groupsd and just change theirs manual |
have you changed any category-permissions ?
Please provide ACP-Access to me via PM and I will check this problem ... |
I am having a similar problem which may or may not be connected but thought if I put it here it is something you can rule out Jilly.
I have my permissions set to what I want however my members when they click on the arcade and a game are getting the error message 'The administrator has disabled playing games for your usergroup.' They are getting this message as unregistered users/ not logged in users can not play the games and even though a member is logged into forum when they click the arcade they are not logged into arcade and need to log in again, once logged back in they have no problem. I am not worried about this situation but I would like to change the error message 'The administrator has disabled playing games for your usergroup.' so that it asks them to check they are logged in. I have searched in ACP in phrases and in templates but cant find the phrase to alter as I have with other phrases within forum. MrZeropage can I change this phrase from ACP? if so where do i find it? Also if this is a completely unrelated problem to the thread started I apologise it just seems so similar from the information Jilly posted. regards Karen |
Phrases are all stored in language-files, check /arcade/lang/

Problem solved :)
Notice to anybody: If you had v3arcade installed before, please notice that all settings for ibProArcade are completely done in the ARCADE-Section in AdminCP and that all other settings concerning "arcade" are from v3arcade. Make sure to completely remove v3arcade to ensure no "double-settings" are in your configuration ;) |
