My Problems
 

My site is:
http://www.lab-retriever.net/board/index.php and when I install the htaccess file it takes all of my posts back to the main page, probably a 404 type error or something.

I add this to my htacces as per the generator, any ideas on what is happening? I left the setting exactly the way they are in the options.

Did you upload it in the /forum directory or the root?

Move it to the forum directory, and ya should be good to go Burt :)
