How do I report these 2 bugs

i didn't see in the bug tracker two bugs that I found and I don't seem to have privileges to post the bugs in the bug tracker. Please help me get these posted or resolved.

3.5.4

1. I set up my board to send me an email when a new user signs up, and in it is a link to their profile which I click. New users always show as "Super Moderator" on the right side...until they post their first post. Everything is set to default permissions on my board so this is either displaying wrong or we are all in a world of hurt.

2. In board's "user registration options" I set it up to Moderate Members: "Allows you to validate new members before they are classified as registered members and are allowed to post." = Yes. But it doesn't do a thing, Yes or No, members can post right away after email verification.

thanks.

If you have a unmodfied board with no hacks installed or plugins, you'll have to go to vBulletin.com to report any bug findings you may have.

2. Sounds like you may have something else setup wrong, its not unusual or hard to over look something small that maybe giving you the problem.

well, i can't post on vbulletin.com, it won't let me.

this is defintely a bug. has anyone else turned on the notification on new users and clicked on the link to see their profile from the email? Its random sometimes they show up as Super Moderator other times just shows the 'reputation' blocks. Maybe it only happens when you have the reputation turned on?

It doesn't appear to be a problem other than how it looks...but it shows up in their posts like that until after their first post. Its very disconcerting.

Make sure you e-mail on vb.com is the same as you are using here.

We always use new user notifications and have no problem, and I'm sure thousands of other sites do as well (same with moderated users). It really sounds like something broken at your end.
