PM until #Posts
 
Does anyone know of a hack that restricts a new user form the PM area until they have posted a set number of posts please?

Other than restrciting a usergroup totally, which I don't want to do, I can't see any other way to stop a newbie sending/recieving pm's other than going into each new member's setitngs and changing them.

Any suggestions please?

No need for a hack or mod, take advantage of the default usergroup promotions.

change the current users pms and disalow them make a new group that can use pms and set the promotions based on the number of posts
