Adding in group memberships. Have an example to work with too.
 

Hey guys. I saw something on another site that I was hoping I could get some help on. I have no idea how this guy got this to work, but I would love to know how. I am still a n00b with vBulletin, so a list of steps needed to take to do this would be greatly appreciated.

The picture attached to this thread shows that under the Misc. section of the UserCP control bar, that there is a link called 'Group Memberships'. Then clicking that link shows the data to the right. I want to know how this was done.

The link where you can see the interaction cannot be given because it is part of the UserCP and you have to be registered to use it.

That is done via custom usergroups set as public joinable groups. Once you have created the group it will show up on that page. To add leaders this is done via the dropdown menu for that usergroup in the usergroup manager.
