forum access based on gender...
 

is this possible. i have a womens only forum but ofcourse guys will look and post. is it possible to have it as so a new member registering will be prompted gender for access to this forum?

i think it would have to be upon registration and a one time prompt, so as to avoid members just changing thier gender at random to enter.

yes, have a look at amykhar's profile. There is a modification there to set users to a primary usergroup based on a profile field. Then just set permissions for the womens usergroup to access the womens forum and not men, and vice versa for any mens forums.

set the field as required and only give male and female options. They will have to enter one or the other then as it will not allow them to register until they have done so.
