I Am In Need Of Help!

 I really need help with my site. The style i've got isnt working properly. If anyone wants to help please pm me. I've already asked for help in other forums but this community has a serious shortage of people good with php.....who ARE willing to help....anyone...someone...pm me...

I think the problem is that your questions have been very non-specific and you seem to be wanting to stand back and have somebody else do your coding. VB.org is more about learning to code things yourself or hiring a professional to do it for you. Not many of us have the time to go in and do major repair work on another admin's site.

So, instead of just reposting repeated cries of help me - ask specific questions about specific problems and read some of the tutorials about basic forum modification. You'll get a lot further that way. :)

:surprised: Why is it working on the forums then? I'm not trying to be rude...i'm just asking.

anyone?

amykhar 06-22-2006 06:32 PM

because you are using relative paths. your forums are in /forums

the image is in /forums/images/

You linked to /images/ instead of /forums/images/

The solution is to change the image path to use the full path. /forums/images/ instead of /images/

phalnax 06-22-2006 06:42 PM

which image path...i mean is this in the template? or in the template settings...

amykhar 06-22-2006 06:43 PM

The image paths are in your style settings.
