Parent Email Address Required!
 

hi, i was wondering if there is a way to make the parent email address a required field? our site is designed specifically for pre-teen and young teenage girls so we want to be in contact with their parents as much as possible. as far as i can tell (and i am VERY new at this!), the only time a parent's email is required is when a user is under 13. any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks,

I'm not sure if you can do that, but you could create a new required field for their parents address.

yeah that's what I ended up doing, but now the problem is that when a user enters their parent's email address, it shows up as censored, even in the adminCP. I've censored email addresses as an attempt to prevent my young users from sharing too much information about themselves. However, I feel like something isn't quite right if the censoring is showing up in the AdminCP. This of course prevents us from making use of the parent's email, which was the whole point. Any help you could give me with this problem would be really great :)

This is still a problem we are having so any help would be greatly appreciated!
