Something i just thought of..
I dont know if this has already been approached, but i run a medium sized forums (about 500 members) and my staff are pretty reliant on the inferno warning system as im sure alot of other forums are.
now vB3.6.0 is on the verge of release, with its own built in warning system. now my question is, when you guys upgrade to 3.6 (if you havn't already), how are you going to be handling the change over in warnings? i mean i dont think theres a way to port points from inferno's to vBulletin's system, so are you going to have your mods manually do it? or let all your members have a clean slate so to speak, or just not use vBulletins built in system and carry on using inferno's? |
basically i just uninstalled it before upgrading (might cause problems afterwards), let all the non-banned members start over with a clean slate.

I've not looked at the structure, how things are inserted or anything specific, though a porting script could probably be written; given you can find someone to do it for you :).
Not sure if you'd like to go through all the trouble, however, if there is a will, there is a way :). |

I did the same |
That's what I'm likely to do too, except integrate the default one with my own automated appeals/report system.
