Redirect to Forum after Posting New Thread
Redirect to Forum after Posting Version 1.0 What does this do? This little mod will redirect you back to the forum when you post a New Thread. The default behaviour is to redirect you to the thread that you have just posted, which never made much sense to me - you've just posted it, why do you need to see it? :) Sounds Great! How do I install? Installation couldn't be easier. Unzip the attached ZIP file and import the Product XML to your AdminCP as normal. - it adds 1 plugin :) Important: Unfortunately, my leased vBulletin licence has now expired, and I won't be renewing it until September which means I will be unable to reply to this thread, or update this mod until then. I'm hopeful that the great vBulletin.org community will step in to answer any questions in my absence though :) See you all in early September! :D |
Known Bugs: None!

Why should the members bien redirected to another forum ? Don't they need to look at there threads or post after submitting it ! .
|
When I post a thread, I don't then re-read it after I've posted it :) I post it then go straight back to the forum again to continue reading/posting :)
Thanks, Alan. |
will this work on 3.5.4?
and thanks, this is the what ive been looking for. i see no reason to be redirected back to the post a user just made. i think the user should be redirected back to the forum they were posting in. |
Edit: Sorry, this doesn't work on 3.5.4 - only 3.6 or above :)
Thanks, Alan. |
I think the idea of redirecting back to the thread itself is so you can see if you made any mistakes, i know thats come in handy for me plenty of times. Either or nice job :P.

Must admit, i am so glad of the redirect back to the thread, i need it every time :o
Great hack though :) |
awesome idea..........Installed

*edit*
ok i got it. im tired today, lol. thanks for doing this. a lot of users arent worried about a small spelling mistake or two. but this takes away one step the user has to go thru to get back to the forums. |
