Restrict Attachment per Forum?
 

Is there a mod where you can allow/disallow file attachments on a specific forum?

e.g

freeware games - disallow attachments
freeware games torrents - allow attachments

Easiest way is to turn "Moderate Attachments" on for the forums you don't want attachments in. Other than that, there is no built-in way to do it.

Edit:
ok, just looked into this and it turns out it can be done without a hack.

AdminCP -> Fourm Permissions

Pick the forum you don't want attachments in and edit the usergroups you want to stop uploading attachments (ie, Registered Users), and set "Can Upload Attachments" to No.

Repeat for any other usergroups / forums and your all done :)
