Forum Overloaded, please help ! Urgent

Hi,
There are usually around 200 users online in my forum (average). As a result, my users usually get the 'SERVICE UNVAILABLE' message since my host only allows 50 concurrent connections to a shared hosting site. Is there any way I can prevent this problem ? I heard something about using AutoRedirecting Page. Is this really a sollution for a crowed site ? THANKS

Your best solution is a better hosting plan.

If you are averaging 200 concurrent members online at once, it's time to move away from shared hosting and into the VPS -> Dedicated hosting sector.

How many of those 200 though are just search engine bots? may want to temporarily block them, see what happens

Yup... it seems that you need to move to a vps or even a dedicated server.

Even if you upgrade your virtual hosting plan, you won't get more concurrent connections.

Trust me.

I recently had to move.
