vb.org Archive - Mod Rewrite question. redirect to new forum directory

I have 2 questions about mod rewrite in .htaccess.
I have 1 site that was phpnuke that I converted to Vbulletin. All the pages that are indexed by Google are like www.mysite.com/post2345.html and I want to redirect all those to my main forums page now www.mysite.com/forums. I am sure their is no way to redirect them to the actual posts.

Next is a site that was already running vbulletin and i moved the forums from the root directory to /forums directory www.mysite.com/forums. I know these can be redirected to the actual posts because the only difference is the /forums. I have looked all over but just haven't found anything that works yet.
