Total Newbie question about XML file and install of a hack
I just changed the code in my class_core.php file to add the real IP hack from one of the wonderful people here.
His last instruction line says: Quote:
Use the XML file supplied to upload? Why? What? I changed the code on the main file and why do I need to use the XML file? Overwrite? What needs to be switched and where? I looked all over until I decided to upload the new PHP file and then my FTP manager asked if I wanted to overwrite the file on the server and I said yes. Is that what the instruction meant? Or is there a place I have to go and select to overwrite my PHP files. Using the XML file do I have to upload that to the server? I did make a back up before I did any of this just so people know I'm not a complet idiot. :D Thanks, I am a confuse idiot, but very willing to learn. |
In your ACP, you need to go to Plugin System > Product manager
At the bottom of this page there is a link to import product. Go to that page and complete the details and hit import. |

Thank you! I know newbs can be annoying and appreciate your help! |
Not a problem at all. Despite what some people might think, everyone here was a newbie at some point.
