is there any way to fix this?

I had this problem.. I just edited the CSS in the ACP for the class "bigusername" .. It is at the bottom. Just change the font-size to a smaller number!

Dont allow such long user names.

yeah, there's a setting in acp for limiting the # of characters in the username

I'm sure there is a php function that counts the amount of characters in a string and cuts it short if it is too long. Do a search on google, I'm sure you'll find it.
