submit edits to 1st post for moderation

As i understand it if you set moderate thread to yes it only submits new threads for moderation. I need a way for the first post in every thread to be resubmitted for moderation when it has been edited. I know i could set post moderation to yes but i only need to moderate the first posts edits... If anyone could help me out that would be great....
