What style is needed?

I want to make some more style for vBulletin, but I want to make some that will be of use to some people. So my question is, what do people want? I don't use template edits, I like to keep it all nice and functional. I'm talking about re-doing all the buttons, colors, gradients, etc. What color combos would you like to see? Are there any themes that you think are needed in a vBulletin style? Thanks for your input!

Hi ab420,

I am after a new skin /css style for a genealogy (tracing family history) forum.

I would like the colors to be old fashioned, victorian, like a sepia color. I am also looking to make all the tables rounded on the edges instead of everything square and boxy!

As I have just only purchased VB and am a php novice, I will be trying over the next few weeks to play around on my site before it goes live!

Have a look at my site for some ideas - though at the moment it has SMF forum - so don't take offence:classic:

Cheers,
Dave

The only way that I now to round off the corners, would be to use images for all the table headers, which would add some to the loading times on the site... but it is possible...

Hi, Thanks for the reply ab420.

I am trying at the moment to add these to the tables.
Hit and miss at the moment though.

Dave
