What are the chances of member avatar sizes being increased to 100 px by 100px?

I'm going to go with what Boofo said. I feel it's highly unlikely because then poor people on dial-up (Brad) would have to load even LARGER images.

80x80 is a default size that most places use. As Dan said, we have to be aware of people who are still on dial-up. (Plus it messes up my wap as they get bigger than my screen on my cellphone)

There's a theory that 120x120px of the same avatar (file) size will use less system resources than a 80x80px.

Damn. I meant to say 128x128px and a bandwidth issue than 120x120 and system resources...Ohh and how it renders for higher resolutions (binary-pixels...). Factors such as transparency, refreshes, display, unique file downloads, loading time come into play...
