Fatal error on page load

Our site had been getting these errors when trying to move from page to page and appear to happen when the site does not respond fast enough.. Does anyone know what this means and how to fix this???

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in c:\domains\xxxxxxxxx.com\wwwroot\forums\incl udes\class_core.php on line 404

Do you still get this problem with the product system disabled? it can perhaps be a never-ending query.

I have not disabled the product system for a couple reasons . One my site is heavy dependant on many of the installed products and second this error does not happen all the time for me and hard to catch when it happens but when you have many members hitting the site at once they see the error.
