External.php and snippet of post? Possible?
 

I am using the javascript to display the latest 5 posts on my websites on page for my forum.

How can I also display a snippet of the post itself? Maybe the first 30 characters of the post?

I'm curious as to how exactly you're using javascript to do this. Perhaps you can post the code so i or someone can help you?

Someone has to know how to do this and display parts of the actual thread/post on an external page (not just the link and title)
