question about posbit
 

hey guys....

ok, I am using the satellite skin...
I have it so the posbit option is disabled and everything is fine...works good and the avatars are being displayed...but I actualy want to use the posbit and everytime I go to admin page Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template and enable it....

it anables it but two problemes....

the avatras are not being displayed anymore....
when you right click on the avatar it says www.domain.com my domain


and the other thing...around the user notes, like the join date and the amount of posts I get this table

so my questions are...how would I fix the avatar issue and how would I get those borders or tables removed...so the notes would just blend wihtin the background itself....like the way it is in this forum...regards

Can you post the template that you are having problems with please. (It sounds like your postbit_legacy)

yes, I am trying to use the postbit legacy...which has the avatar and user info on the left just like this forum...but when I do that...the avatars are not being displayed....right click on it and it just shows the domain address...

and also, the user info is being surounded by that bright gray boreder and I need to get ride of it.....to make it the notes and txt blend in with the background like this forum....

Did you just copy the postbit_legacy template to postbit? if you did that might be a problem or if you edited in anyway. If you did set the setting in vBulletin Options to use the postbit_legacy over the regular postbit you did it right, but did you edit the postbit_legacy template at all? If you did you might have messed it up and the best option is to revert it back to default and try modifying it again. If you have any other problems with this feel free to post again ;) and we'll do our best to help you.

ok..thanks ....no i just uploaded the template which is the fixed virson of it at the begening and its default was not posbit...it was the one which shows the avatar and everything up top....i sit the setting in the admin page, and it changed to posbit...but the avatar and boreders are an issue

Can you post the contents of the template, making sure that you wrap it in [ code][ /code] tags please.
