Installed hacks Colour Code

I wanted to add another idea about this....again, alot of work...but maybe something people would like?

Colour code the Updated Green, Yellow, Red

Green- Minor
Yellow- Intermediate
Red- Major

Some hacks get updated ALOT...and it would serve 2 purposes, 1) The urgency of an update, and potentially 2) tell people how far behind they are in updates...I was thinking maybe adding a checkbox for it when the hack is edited? might be worth a look?

Leave it to me to be the idea guy who can't back it up :p

hmm, it would be doable and sounds like an intresting idea to keep in mind :)

Yellow would not look good in all styles.

Yellow looks good in only about... Dark Blue

I think he is only using those colours as an example-Doesn't have to be yellow

It is just an example :p each style could have colours complementary to it....but each would represent one of the 3 tiers for a release update.

RYG was for 2 reason :p it looks good in smooth blue and the whole traffic light enalagy that I shy'd away from :p

It would be great if all installed hack showed up as bold title.

actual showup: v3.5.4 - hack for bbcode blah blah
what I say: v3.5.4 - hack for bbcode blah blah

But what about when the hack gets updated many times?
Say for instance when a hack has a major update then a minor one. Would your idea entail showing the Major color or the Minor color?

I like your idea, don't get me wrong, but Im just wondering.
Maybe if we could get a updatelog, where you would first have to input the version number of your new attachment before being allowed to upload zips. This could also automatically update the Version Number field.

Actually when a hack is updated, the prefix "Updated" apears before the hack vb Version and thread title.

Maybe creating a "Search updated mods" option within the newly created mod section.
