Using VB session data outside VBulletin directory.
 

I have seen exmamples on the forums here of users using VB sessions for their entire site, not just the forums. I have gotten those examples to work within the VBulletin directory, but not further than that.

I've tried using the chdir function, but always get an error along the lines of "call to method on non-member object", or something along those lines.

Is there a documented way of how vb authentcates a user, or another way to use the session data outside of the directory without using chdir, 3rd party hack perhaps?

Any help would be appreciated.
