Buttons Request

I think it would be GREAT if one of you graphics designers would/could make up a set of vB 3.5 buttons in several different colors.

Namely wine (#800000), dk blue (#52549A), teal (#43858B), sage green (#BAC2AC), pale green (#CFDDCF), mauve (#B5A1B0)

thank you in advance!

Ohio, you do know about the button generator tools posted at vbulletin.com, right? You plug in the colors, and it makes the buttons for you.

no ma'am I didn't know anything about that! this is great news. thank you very much Amy

Id like to know also??

Ohiosweetheart 05-25-2006 02:19 PM

hmmm Amy I downloaded the vBulletin 3 graphics Kit, I assume that's what you are talking about? I got the one with the buttons that are the correct size already, AND the one with the large images in layers, to make the images the way you want to.
However, neither of these kits says anything about how to change colors, only how to matte them to my existing bg color.
Could you point me in the right direction somehow?

No. I'm talking about a visual basic program written by a guy named delhaze ( I think) It's in the graphics forum at the .com And, I think there are others.

Ohiosweetheart 05-25-2006 07:13 PM

ah I saw that one by delhaze. I was reluctant to d/l it because he stopped support on it like last year and there were so many posts saying it didn't work right, that I was afraid to try.

I didnt see any others but I'll go back and look.
thanks!

If anyone takes on this request they might want to use adjustment layers to give the colours a little vibrance than the ever common saturated colour shifted variants.

As a rule, I hate modding anyone's graphics least of all vb defaults when you can't actually perform a true modification in photoshop because the colour blends and lighting effects were done in lightwave (I think) or the layer was rasterized.

I know this isn't much help to you Ohiosweetheart though I will add a vast selection of colour variants (in one post) at a later date.

thank you Shelley. I've gotten nowhere on this request at all, nor have I been able to figure out the graphics kit that .com offers for download.

so I'll just wait.
