Custom Display names instead of Usernames?
 

I'm integrating vB 3.5 with another system.

What I'm doing is trying to allow users to use display names instead of the username. So far I have field1 setup as 'Display Name' which they can configure in the profile options. I've changed it in the postbit, but what I'd like to do now is make it so the forum post listings shows the display names also instead of the username.

How can I do this?

If you have already added the field to the postbit, then you should be seeing both the username and the field name. Go back into the postbit template and comment the username out. All that will be displayed is the field.
