New User, needs some help
 

Hi, I'm new here, but we've been using vBulletin for over a year now.

My problem is this. I want to upgrade it to the latest version. We're currently running 3.0.6.

My problem with upgrading is manifold. I'm a married father of two young boys, my wife is disabled, and my job is hectic. (Excutive Protection). We help run a forum for people suffering from psoriasis. And I need to find out as quickly and as neatly, HOW I can upgrade our current forum to the current version without losing any data.

I've been trying to search the instructions, but I'll be honest, my attention span isn't what it used to be. IF ANYONE has any quick fix, or some good detailed instructions, that don't have me flip flopping back and forth between different pages, I would REALLY appreciate it. I guess what I'm looking for, is a good set of linear instructions. Here's hoping they exist!

It depends on if your board has been modified from the stock version at all.

Well, we have our own graphic at the top, and of course, there are the settings for our servers and all, just the normal stuff anyone would make.

Then upgrading shouldn't be too difficult at all. And, if you really don't want to mess with it, you could always post it in Service Requests and pay somebody to do it for you. Since it's a very basic upgrade, it shouldn't cost much at all.
