Posts Per Day. Make it based on past X months.

How can I make the posts per day number reflect for the past X months rather than since the member has joined?

Thanks!!

do you need all the code written for you or are you just looking for a tip to get you started?

ricknlida 05-23-2006 11:12 AM

"All the code?" Eek. I was presuming it something simple, like changing part of the $postsperday line in member.php from $jointime to $3months - or something like that...

I'm a total noob but happy to learn...so a tip to get me started would be great. I'll put on my best looking thinking cap! :D

Wow, bjs, you are too awesome!!

I am sorry, though...in my newbiness I failed to say that we are using v. 3.5.4. Will this work with our version?

amykhar 06-08-2006 10:40 AM

No, that mod is for 3.0.8. It won't work.

ricknlida 06-08-2006 11:05 AM

Drat. Amy, you hinted as though it's possible earlier. Can you point me in the right direction?

Currently building a 3.5.4 forum and testing it now.

I've built the 3.5.4 and applied the mod. All appears to be ok

BUT

to properly test it i need to wait 24 hours.

I might have time to see if this works ok for you on friday during the day (GMT+1) If not it'll be monday at the earlyest

Please see my updated patch in this thread for 3.5.4 support.

Please redownload.txt as there is new instrictions
