tourney bugs
 

two bugs coming in arcade.

1) is that as soon as someone starts to play, the tourney link shows that the person has taken his quota and allots him 0 points meanwhile(till the actual points come up from the game after user finishes)
so what happens is both me and other guy are on 2/3 games

i play my 3rd and set say 5k.
the other guy then starts and when i see tourney link i see he has already played 3/3 and his score is 0 and i am the winner of the crown.(the other guy is shown as eliminated)


but when the other guy actually finishes and submits score and we refresh the tourney page.. we see both as eliminated and the other guy is winner

and secondly, the tourney highscores aren't counted in main highscores? or i missed some setting?

never had something like that before, does that happen all the time ?

yes, tournament-highscores can be "best result ever" but not a highscore...

i think it happens regularly if you have both the guys in tourney playing at the same time without delay.

eg me and 2nd guy are playing simultaneously and i play the game and he playing too and i finish it first then his score is still 0 till he submits. so i win.. but when he submits and his score is more,, he wins and both are eliminated.. atleast thats what i think how it is.

well that shouldnt happen as it wont do anything till both have played all 3 times and also one person may have played more than 3 times and this is why it is doing that.

i have tried this twice with my friend now and it always does the same thing. i am trying to see where the problem is

the prob is that the guy just started playing and it already shows this

1/2 played.. he has just started playing. hasn't submitted yet.

the second you click the link it counts as a play. If you dont submit the score then you get a 0. This is so no one gets extra turns.

well yes.. but if the guy starting later submits before the former does both are shown eliminated
thats why the screenshot

this is cos the arcade takes the score of other guy as 0 till such time he has submitted and if he plays longer and other guy finishes before you have a prob

its not an issue if the guys are not playing at the same time. if they are playing at same time its a major prob
